Greg is a South Carolina native who brings an unmatched professional and innovative approach to residential and commercial sales in the Charleston, SC market. Growing up in Columbia, SC he attended the University of South Carolina, earning a degree in finance. He then went on to law school in Charleston, SC where he passed the bar and received his law license. Thereafter, Greg used his talents working in real estate finance and sales in New York City, where he spent six years gaining incomparable experience in the industry. 
 
Greg has since returned home and lives in Mount Pleasant, SC with his wife, Courtney. He is the Co-Founder and Broker-in-Charge of Avenue Realty Company, LLC. Before creating Avenue with his father, Brian, he worked as a broker focused on luxury residential and commercial sales.
 
Greg’s professional background includes positions at Rockwood Real Estate Advisors (Investment Sales), TFO (Global Investment Manager | $1.0bn real estate portfolio), and Brixmor Property Group, a publicly traded REIT. During this time, Greg handled the sale of multiple portfolios of residential loans and was involved in numerous acquisitions and dispositions across all commercial property types, including, retail, multifamily, office, self-storage, and industrial.
 
Greg’s unique skillset and experience provides clients with valuable insight when it comes to buying, selling, and investing in real estate. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to the most desirable oceanfront, intracoastal, and exclusive properties in Charleston and the surrounding areas.
 
In his spare time, Greg enjoys playing golf and is an avid boater and sport fisherman. He and his family have won numerous fishing tournaments both local and abroad, including the SC Governor’s Cup Billfish Series, the Bahamas Billfish Series, and placing in top honors in Costa Rica’s Los Suenos Signature Billfish Series. Greg enjoys everything Charleston, SC has to offer, including days at the beach with family on Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms.

Brian has been in the real estate industry for over 40 years and is highly experienced in all areas of real property law. Before transitioning to a sales and advisory role, Brian retired from practicing law where he primarily practiced in the field of residential and commercial real estate. Brian had the privilege of helping thousands of clients with their real estate needs, whether it be transactional or litigating in the courtroom. He established a reputation as a well-respected attorney, closing over 25,000 transactions, and litigating over 16,000 cases. Brian’s intimate knowledge of South Carolina real estate law and a strong desire to help his clients have put him in the upper echelon in his field. Brian’s sharp real estate knowledge, communication, and transparency serves to provide his clients with exceptional guidance throughout the buying and selling process.

 

Brian chose South Carolina as his home 50 years ago after graduating law school. After several decades of running his own law firm, Brian retired and joined his son, Greg, co-founding Avenue Realty Company, LLC. Brian is a trusted expert in the industry and is regularly quoted in local media outlets such as the Post & Courier and The State Newspaper.

 

Brian lives with his wife in Charleston, SC and is the proud father of three grown children and grandfather of five grandchildren. He enjoys participating in a number of sports activities including offshore fishing, golf, bicycling, and bocce ball.
